Yup, they did it.

They wrote off my car. It doesn't look so bad right? Well the front panel, bumper, and side panel would need replacing. What really did it though was a buckle in the frame. My poor baby. Just what we needed. More on this later.

They wrote it off but doesn't mean you have to turn it in. Take the cash settlement that they offer and you can still keep driving it, just if there was another accident then you wouldn't be able to claim the car. The money would help with bills. Maybe this is a good sign in disguise. I can tell you more about this. We did it with the rear quater panel on the daytona.

I think what Misty says is a good idea. The car is still drivable, and really that's all you need. The money from the insurance can take some of the pressure off you guys. (Only God can make a silk purse out of a sows ear. hehe)

Yeah, that's what I was hoping for as well but after talking to Rod last night I don't think it will work. The front panel and bumper will have to be replaced and because there is a buckle in the frame they won't sit right. That means the frame would have to be fixed or replaced which is probably not worth it, even if we had the cash. We are trying to figure this out in the best possible way. We really can't afford to have 2 cars anyways.....
