Psalm 13

Last night a friend suggested I read Psalm 13. I said I would and didn't. This morning a different friend sent it to me in email saying she felt she needed to share it with me. Ok, I guess I need to pay attention. Thanks guys.

Psalm 13

How long O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you look the other way?
How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul,
with sorrow in my heart every day?
How long will my enemy have the upper hand?

Turn and answer me, O Lord my God!
Restore the light to my eyes or I will die
Don't let my enemies gloat, saying, "We have defeated him!"
Don't let them rejoice at my downfall

But I trust in your unfailing love.
I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
I will sing to the Lord because He has been so good to me.

Wow!! I love how God does that! Isn't it so encouraging when we begin to understand how much He loves us!.....when we begin to realize that in our time of need He will continue to do whatever it takes to speak to us in order to heal us deeper. Continue to read this passage Michelle! Make it your prayer. Love you.

That is an amazing passage. I am often uplifted by the footprints poem. Especially the last line in which the author looks upon the sand and sees one set of footprints asks God why in his most desperete times God left him and God replies those are the times when I carried you. He is willing to carry you now. All you need to do is ask. I am praying for you daily.
