What IS up with the upside down trees this year?
I googled it and came up with some info. Apparently it was a 12th-century tradition in Central Europe. They are either attached to the ceiling or are weighted at the base. And one of the selling features is that it leaves more floor space open for gifts and better displays ornaments.
I don't know, it just looks wrong to me.
The picture came from the Canadian Tire website here.
More info on this here and here.

yeah - its just wrong.....
NO THANK YOU!! I personally think that it look dorky. I am all for the real looking ones. Although I am really sad cause we live in an apartment and can't have a live tree. I so wish we could. I miss the smell of them. I don't care about the mess they make. I want Cooper to experience it too. Maybe when he is older we can have a house and make our OWN rules! Sorry, that turned into a little rant. How can you tell that it upsets me? I WANT A REAL TREE! (STOMPING FEET AND POUTING) Maybe we can convince someone we know to get one. Anyway...sorry,... I am done.
